Summer Celebration

Make plans now to join us for Summer Celebration at Rippling Waters Campground July 22-27. Below are details of this year's Summer Celebration.

Our speakers for Summer Celebration this year will be two amazing ladies whom God has anointed in so many ways. Monday through Wednesday we will have the pleasure of hearing God's voice through Rev. Jeannette Flynn. Thursday and Friday we will hear from the Lord through Dr. Melissa Pratt. You will want to invite your friends to come with you for each exciting evening. Evening services will begin at 7 PM Monday-Friday.

Our worship will be led by Pastor Scott Hodge. Scott and his team took us to the throne last year. We are expecting God to use them in a powerful way as we sing praises to our God.

There will be multiple opportunities for God to speak to your heart at Summer Celebration. On Sunday evening July 22 at 6 PM the KVMA is sponsoring a concert featuring The Whisnants. The Whisnants are a renowned Southern Gospel group who will bless your heart. You can check them out at www.whisnants.com and also check them out on Youtube.com.

Monday thru Thursday there will be 10 AM events for adults, youth and children. There will be an afternoon event for youth as well. The children will also have an event during the evening service. They will be dismissed during the offering to go to Children's Church. The youth will also have events following the evening service. Check out locations in the onsite info at Summer Celebration.

The 10 AM adult conference will feature Jeannette Flynn Monday thru Wednesday. This conference is entitled "Packed and Ready to Go!" Monday will ask the question: Where's your head? Tuesday will ask the question: Where's your Heart? Wednesday will ask the question: What's in your hand?

On Thursday, there is a golf tournament sponsored by the Church Health Board. This will begin at 8 AM at the Roane County Golf Club and will last until noon where a lunch will be available for those who choose to purchase a meal at the golf course. There are spots for 36 players for the 8 AM flight. The easiest way to register is by email. You can reserve your spot(s) by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Friday, West Virginia Ministries Day will take place. The day will begin with a conference led by Rev. Richard Bradley at 9 AM. (This is a required conference for candidates in the credentialing process). WV Ministries Meeting (including lay representation) will begin at 10 AM with the Elders Meeting (ministers) following the conclusion of WV Ministries Meeting. Registration for the meetings will take place 8:30 AM – 9:50 AM on the front porch of the conference center.

Our Banner Offering will be received on Wednesday evening. The Banner Offering is the once a year offering that goes toward physical improvements at the campground and programming. Please dig deep this year for this special offering. While we know that many of you are receiving a love offering for state ministry, this additional offering is needed in order to continue moving forward. Thank you in advance for giving to the Banner Offering.

Friday evening is our ordination service. This will be part of our evening service. Please do your best to stay and support those new in ministry as we celebrate their ordination. Pastors, ministers, evangelists, etc., would YOU please do your best to be in attendance in order to support those who are being ordained. If those already ordained do not show value in ordination our congregations will not either. Please, support YOUR fellow ministers.

Lastly, there will be info sheets on the grounds informing you of the week's activities. See YOU at Summer Celebration!!!

Sincerely,

Program Team WV Ministries
